Round before work with old acquaintances. And very ☁️❄️🥶 weather. The advantage of a Wednesday morning is a total of maybe 10 people a sled and a couple of dogs. 👍 The paths are icy, I was on the road without spikes/toddlers, it went reasonably well. And a variation of ⛄☃️ was to admire on the way 🤗

Start in St. Heinrich, no marked hike, the goal was simply St. Kastulus. Back along the lake. In the summer definitely full without end today at ☁️ the route to the chapel deserted 😉 overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Unspectacular, easy to walk, suitable for everyone 🤓

Guided tour 👍 just to test it out. In absolute imperial weather ☀️☀️☀️☀️ and nice squad. And a small unit in avalanche rescue was also there. Very 👍👍👍👍 successful. It was a lot of fun 🤗

Reached up by taxi from Sao Vicente for around € 14. The levada is well secured to walk where necessary. Up to the long tunnel you have to go through two smaller tunnels and a waterfall behind you👍🤗. Don't forget your flashlight and rain cover. A couple came out of the long tunnel towards me with the information that the crossing simply took them 17 minutes. 🤔 That was too much of a good thing for me, so back to that point for me. Then the descent to Sao Vicente a lot over asphalt and road, where I only met 3 cars. When you hear the word Camino or Paseo, take a look, mostly small paths around it are very worthwhile. Overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️ for my final tour. See you next time in Madeira.

Local public transport in Madeira is possible 😉 I took the late one of two daily buses to Funchal. My main destination was the Mercado Lavradores. I love this market ❤️ with its variety of fruit and vegetables well if you go deeper into the market hall olfactorily not the profit. Then along the promenade along the sea to the two adjoining crusaders. In between a nostalgic cog (?) Discovered. Back through the shopping streets. Every shower spent in a consumer temple 👍 on the way I passed a photography museum, but due to the lack of a current test (everything here is 2G +) I couldn't get in. But since I will definitely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ come back ..... Funchal is also worth seeing outside of my market halls 😉🤗👍

I used my day break for a short walking tour. Without sticks, but with two small water bottles which are always my replacement when I am on vacation😉

Today I parked at the big picnic parking lot in Fanal because after 🌧️ yesterday the parking lot at the beginning of the PR14 was a mud fight. With the circular route you have to make the difficult decision of going up or down the 1000 stairs at the beginning or at the end. 🤔 I decided to start and go down. Today it is muddy but still easy to walk along the levada. I followed a downhill bike path uphill, walking well for lack of 🚴‍♂️, but narrow. Varied hike with levada up / down and also the laurel 🌳 only where the cedars were❓🤔

Start at Encumeada Pass, simply park your car in one of the parking lots. After yesterday it should be more dignified today without gorse 😉 this levada is not in any of my hiking books and I don't know why. Good to run great view nothing to complain about. I turned around at the tunnel because of the weather, the PR 17 would have continued through the tunnel. The 🌧️ only caught me shortly before the end 👍.
