Descent to the Kalkofensteg: Good footwear and surefootedness are recommended, as the path partly leads over loose stones and roots. At the Ammer there are large gravel banks where you can linger and swim. The sinter terraces are also worth seeing.

Great gorge with lovely places to take a break on the gravel bank of the Ammer, the old wooden bridge is a beautiful eye-catcher!!!
However, the path there is not always easy to walk, good footwear is almost a must

The tour is great and very varied but also has its claim.
The path is easy to walk on the western side with many small bridges, the eastern side is not developed, so the water drains that cross the path are usually very swampy and slippery and can only be walked with appropriate surefootedness, but when we walked the path it was It rained heavily the night before.
Therefore, appropriate shoes are required, my recommendation, due to the sometimes very slippery path, would be hiking sticks.
