It's nice to take the cable car over the Expo site, then walk back and see everything.

The Cable Car or Telecabine in Parque das Nações was opened in March 1998 for the Lisbon International Exhibition, known as EXPO 98.
It has 40 cabins with capacity for 8 passengers. The route next to the Tagus River, just a few meters from the riverfront. The South terminal is on Passeio de Neptuno, close to the Oceanarium and the North terminal is located on Passeio das Tágides, close to the old Torre Vasco da Gama, now the Hotel Myriad.
The journey, lasting 8 to 12 minutes, covers a beautiful and restful route of 1,230 meters, over the Tagus River, from where you can see a panorama of Parque das Nações at a height of 30 meters.
We can see up close the Oceanarium, Doca dos Olivais, the Portuguese Pavilion and its roof, the Atlantic Pavilion, the FIL Pavilion and in the distance the entire Parque das Nações, Oriente station, the São Gabriel and São Rafael towers, the Vasco da Gama Tower and also the Vasco da Gama bridge.
