Last surviving city gate of originally 3 gates. The passage ran east of the gate for at least 200 years. Once excellently secured by a front gate, ramparts and ditches (still clearly recognizable). Built in the 14th century, raised in 1503 and pyramidal roof. Until 1867 the gates were closed at night.
