The Iglesia de San Valero is located in the trendy Ruzafa district and is affectionately known by locals as the "Catedral de Ruzafa" (Ruzafa Cathedral) due to its imposing size. The baroque house of worship was built in the 17th century and sits atop the historical foundations of an older predecessor commissioned by King James I. In addition to its exciting history, the church impresses above all with its striking, three-story bell tower and opulent interior.
