This building is an example of an old mosque on which a Catholic church was built outside the city walls in 1240. Originally a Gothic construction, it was, due to the decay caused by fires throughout history, finally given its current Baroque physiognomy in the 17th century. The Gothic past is evident in the single nave, the buttresses and the large covered rose window.
