Tips
The memorial stone is reminiscent of Old Dettenheim. The place is not far from the Rhine and the floods repeatedly flooded the place. In 1813 the town was relocated to Altenbürg and renamed Karlsdorf. Here are still a few houses and the inn "Zum Löwen", but this is closed for 10 years. In the village used to be a brickyard.
