The Fröbelturm is a lookout tower near the mountain town of Oberweißbach in the Thuringian Slate Mountains. It was built in the years 1888-1890 on the summit of the 784.2 m high Kirchbergs by the Thuringian Forest Association as a thank you sign for Friedrich Froebel, the founder of kindergartens.
