Flour Sack, Ravensburg
The round tower was built between 1425 and 1429 to ward off attacks from the higher castle, which was owned by the Habsburgs and was pledged to the Counts of Waldburg in the 14th/15th century. The name comes from the fact that the tower's shape resembles historical, tall flour sacks. It is the city's landmark. Height: 51 meters, 253 steps.
