The early Baroque palace garden was in 16./17. Century created. Today it is reminiscent of the newly built Orangerie and the large spiral staircase that connected the garden with the garden hall at the beginning of the 18th century.

The Castle Garden in Mikulov is one of the largest castle-type gardens in the Czech Republic. It consists of garden terraces arranged at different levels around the entire hill on which the castle stands. The garden is only open during the summer season from April to September.
