Iron Curtain Monument along the Iron Curtain Trail (EuroVelo 13). From here also good view of the city Mikulov. Especially the imposing baroque castle attracts everyone's attention. On information boards along the way one learns different methods, which were used for the escape and the overcoming of the iron curtain. This and other monuments are reminiscent of the border dead.

This memorial, inaugurated in 2014, is located directly on the iron curtain trail. Each of the 8-meter-high iron steles is intended to commemorate someone who died at the border. There are also panels with fates from the time of the closed border, which is only a stone's throw away.
