The recommended starting point for this itinerary is undoubtedly the monumental Fontana dei due Fiumi located in Largo Garibaldi, which was activated in 1938 on the occasion of the entry into operation of the new city aqueduct.
Considered the artist's most prestigious intervention, intended to embellish the eastern entrance to the city, this creation is composed of a series of circular travertine basins and two bronze figures, one female and one male, which respectively symbolize the Secchia and Panaro rivers.
