The church was consecrated as early as 1280, destroyed several times in the following centuries with the exception of the field stone base and then rebuilt and rebuilt. Today it is a simple, rectangular field stone building with a gable roof and a neo-Gothic tower that is a good 37 meters high. Maybe the church will be open when you come by and you can see the only surviving organ from the organ builder Johann Peter Migendt or the altar from 1759.
