This beautifully decorated cast iron colonnade is the only remnant of the cast iron building of the Blansko Pavilion, built at the end of the 19th century according to the design of architects Fellner and Helmer. Combined with the adjacent Dvořák Park, this is the perfect place to relax. In the Park Colonnade you can also try the snake spring (Hadí pramen - 28.7 °C), which is considered the tastiest as it is less mineralized and cooler, making it ideal for starting a cleansing treatment.

The richly decorated, cast-iron colonnade was originally part of a two-armed, covered promenade veranda, the so-called Blansko Pavilion in today's Dvořák Park behind the military bathhouse. The concert and restaurant hall was assembled between 1880 and 1881 by the Carlsbad builder Josef Waldert based on a project by the well-known Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer from prefabricated castings in the ironworks in Blansko (Blanz). On June 5, 1881, the entire complex was ceremoniously inaugurated as part of the opening of the spa season.

In 1965, however, the former Blansko Pavilion had to be demolished along with the two-armed promenade veranda due to its dilapidation. Of the entire complex, only the eastern wing of the foyer remained, which is now known as the garden or park colonnade. In 2000-2002, the city of Karlovy Vary undertook the complete reconstruction of the colonnade. The snake spring has recently been added to the colonnade area. The park spring in the basement of the military bathhouse (Vojenský lázeňský ústav) is now also accessible from the colonnade.
