Diemel River

The Diemel leads along the Diemeltaler Butterfly Trail. On 152 km of wonderful hiking routes, accompanied by fresh beech forests, over flower-rich limestone grasslands and through many idyllic places. In the west, the Quast viewing platform and in the east the Weser Skywalk offer a wonderful view of the hiking area. In between, the path is sometimes a little quieter, sometimes a little more spirited. Knen is definitely guaranteed relaxation in gentle nature within the three nature parks Teutoburg Forest/Esgebirge, Reinhardswald and Solling-Vogler
