Lamerden is mentioned in the 12th century as the property of the Counts of Northeim, but already around 1300 it belongs to the rule of the noble lords of Schöneberg. 1430 sells the heiress after the extinction of the family ownership of the Landgrave of Hesse. Thus, Lamerden 1455 comes to the Office Trendelburg, where the Hessian legal rights of Pappenheim have as a fief. In 1462 Lamerden was burnt down during the siege of Schöneberg. In 1544, all the fines of the Feldmark and two-thirds of the village were awarded to the state.
