The Grumfeld East megalithic tomb dates back to the Neolithic period, approximately 3500–2800 BC.
The tomb's current condition corresponds to that of the 19th century, when only about two-thirds of the original, approximately 19-meter-long burial chambers remained.
Only rubble remains of many of the original 14 supporting stones and 6 capstones.
This tomb is located on the Giersfeld Stone Grave Trail.
A plaque provides information about its history.
