The open-air stage in Hamburg's Stadtpark is Hamburg's favorite concert venue. A 'rocking local recreation area' (HH Pur) with a living room atmosphere, right in the heart of the city.

'You've probably never seen the biggest stars in such an idyllic setting anywhere else.' (Mopo)

Concertgoers stand in a circular area surrounded by beautiful, tall beech hedges. Because the interior slopes slightly upwards, even at sold-out concerts, you have the best view from all 4,000 seats. Where else can you find something like that?

Whether pop, rock, jazz, or cabaret is on the program, the atmosphere is always fantastic, and the audience is relaxed. 'Stars take turns at the microphone on Hamburg's most beautiful open-air stage.' (BILD) Memorable concert events of the last 40 years have certainly included performances by The Cure, Leonard Cohen, James Brown, Dave Gahan, Massive Attack, Santana, Herbert Grönemeyer, Lady Gaga, Pink!, Sting, Peter Gabriel, and many more. And many a one had to be carried off the stage, otherwise they would have preferred to keep playing all night long... yes, the artists also love the most beautiful, greenest open-air arena in the north!

The atmosphere in the Stadtpark, thankfully, doesn't depend on whether the Hamburg summer calls for shorts or rubber boots...!

What else should be mentioned at this point? Oh yes, the stage has perfect transport links, there's wonderfully cool beer, and – the latter is perhaps even more important – a first-class restroom situation that many other open-air venues envy! In short:

'Here, the definition of joie de vivre seems within reach.' (Bergedorfer Zeitung).

Open-Air Stage - Saarlandstrasse Entrance - Large open-air stage surrounded by greenery with a diverse music program featuring German and international artists. The Pope boxes here in the summer. For more than 40 years, the Stadtpark Open Air concerts have been heard from afar. In 2020, Jamie Cullum, Erobique, The Ediors, The Gipsy Kings, and Melissa Etheridge will be appearing on stage, among others.

Open-air concerts have been held in the Stadtpark since 1914. In Hamburg's "green living room," national and international artists delight audiences year after year with pop, rock, world music, and jazz. The Stadtpark Open-Air Stage is considered the most beautiful open-air stage in Germany and can accommodate up to 4,000 people.
