Hiking

The 'Paul Revere Monument' is one of Boston's most famous landmarks. Work on the monument began in 1883; after several drafts, the final version was completed in 1899. For unknown reasons, however, the monument was not erected in what is now the 'Paul Revere Mall' and opened to the public until 1940.
