Hiking
The square was created in 1825 by demolishing several blocks of houses. A hall for the vegetable market and a theater were built. In 1940 the square was bombed and expanded after the war, without the hall and theater.
The fountain was built in the 15th century under the reign of Louis XII. commissioned and replaced its 13th century predecessor. It bears the coat of arms and ornaments typical of the Gothic period. It has survived in its place ever since.
