Arpenteur (in English, surveyor) takes a playful and poetic look at the phenomenon of climatic anomalies. This sculpture symbolizes the unstoppable progress of man and industrial production society, which is profoundly changing the climate and demonstrably leading to a multiplication of extreme phenomena and climatic anomalies. This walking man creates a large cloud behind him from which thick rain falls. He is both the creator of this cloud and the one who suffers its consequences. The morphology of this wanderer is impressive, inhabited by the original fauna, he seems to have surveyed this land rich in history over the centuries.

The installation is interactive and fun. In the presence of the public, a system of presence sensors integrated into the cloud triggers the rain, transforming the work into a fountain of refreshment.
