The Loretto Chapel in Dürmentingen Built in 1668 by the Truchsessen, the chapel, together with the now heavily modified sexton's house, originally formed a hermitage that was inhabited until 1756.
Tall rectangular building with strongly profiled beams, gable roof and hexagonal onion-crowned roof turret. The portal protrudes from the long wall and is emphasized by a gable and pilasters. Barrel-vaulted interior, beautifully painted as a jointed brick building. Furnishings and picture decorations from the 17th - 20th CENTURY (including epitaph paintings from the parish church).
