Wine Educational Trail Winningen

The wine trail in Winningen is about 1.2 km long and well developed. It leads through the vineyards of the location Winninger Domgarten. It begins at the northwestern outskirts of Winningen at a parking lot and ends on a hill near the motorway bridge of the A 61 over the Moselle.
You can take the same way back to Winningen, or you continue the route as a circular walk on Kuhstiefel and thistle mountain, then you reach after about 1.4 km again Winningen.
There are about 30 information boards shown, here learns the visitor to the wine trail interesting and interesting facts about viticulture in general and about the peculiarities of Riesling in the steep slopes and terraces.
There is a small refuge and various benches that invite you to linger.
