First tight hairpin bends of the Tremola

The famous Tremola, with its 24 switchbacks, is a must for every road cyclist. With good basic training, a few meters of climbing under your belt, and gears suitable for mountain climbing, it's also doable for mere mortals. Yes, you do have to mentally prepare yourself for a good hour of uphill riding at an average speed of 10 km/h (or faster, depending on your fitness). But the suffering is definitely worth it. Once you've made it through the lower half, it just keeps getting better. You'll be greeted by the beautiful, slightly less steep switchbacks, and you'll see what lies ahead. It's a wonderful sight.
