From 1894 to 1970, electricity was generated here. Now the dilapidated buildings are among the forgotten "lost places" and huge reinforced concrete pipes (built in 1922) line the way. First of all, the movie "Planet of the Apes" was one of them. Since my imagination was gone through with me again ... :)

In 1894, an electricity plant was built here. The electricity was used to generate light on the streets, in the restaurants and in the private houses of the Copitz community.

Today, the ruins can be admired. Remains of the turbines can still be seen in the building.
