We enter and exit the Terra Vecchia again, through this beautiful Arch: in 04/1549, in fact, an important passage was created towards the outside of the Borgo Antico, visible from the Arco Carbutto-Via Piazza Vecchia axis.
The name comes from the Palazzo Pignatelli, located next to the Arch. As soon as it ends, on the left, you can read an inscription engraved on stone: "ADI·3:APU·1549", that is, "on April 3, 1549". Everything was discovered by the Society of Historical and Archaeological Studies of Southern Daunia in 1973.
