No more than 30 minutes from the Schneealpenhaus, the Windberg (1,903 meters) rises as the highest point of the snow alluvial massif. The Schneealm is located in the Mürzzuschlag district in the state of Styria, only a small part of the massif belongs to Lower Austria.
If the weather is suitable, the view from the summit extends from the Hohe Veitsch, Hochschwab, Göller to Schneeberg and Rax. With extremely good visibility, you can also guess the Gesäuse and the Dachstein massif.translated by
