The spa park of Bad Malente was opened in 1966. It's true that classic flower beds are missing here and everything looks a bit dilapidated, but it still works as a landscape park. You can climb the Luisenhöhe, use barbecue areas or explore the most beautiful part - the floodplain landscape on the Schwentine with its wooden walkways. There are also two beautiful chess fields with figures.
