Even though the spring looks idyllic and the water is super cold: it is likely seepage water/drainage from the farm and field above. The massive nettles in the background already indicate the high nitrate load (over-fertilization). I stored the water in a bottle for a week as a test: it spoils extremely quickly! (strong algae formation and sulfur smell due to bacteria). Great for washing hands, but please do not drink it under any circumstances!
