The Altenstädter Warte was built in the 14th century. It is the only surviving tower of the former five waiting towers around Naumburg. Today, with a height of almost five meters, it is an observation tower that can be climbed using an 18-rung steel ladder attached to the outside. The view is wonderful.Right next to the tower is a resting place for hikers with the so-called sky swing. Five oak logs screwed together, two chain strands and a plastic seat form this swing. A very nice place to linger and pause.
