Here, the Obereversand Lighthouse stands guard at 37.40 meters above the Dorum Tief.
Relocated from the Outer Weser River to the harbor entrance of Dorum-Neufeld in 2003,
it is the landmark of Dorum-Neufeld.
The observation deck offers a sweeping view of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
A guided tour inside the tower offers a glimpse into the life and work of the lighthouse keepers at the end of the 19th century.
