The Helsinki Olympic Stadium, where the 1952 Summer Olympics were held, is located in the Töölö district, about 2 km from the city center. The 72 meter high Olympic Tower is the highest vantage point in the entire city and gives you a magnificent all-round view of the pearl of the north. Outside of events, the elevator takes you to the top in a matter of seconds - so no problem for all those who are lazy about stairs.
