A hike starting from the village of La Cumbrecita to the popular Cerro Wank and some less known peaks, as well as the Cascada Escondida waterfall. It’s a great area for hiking, with many trails to choose from across mostly easy terrain.

Cerro de la Virgen is a very popular spot, especially on Sundays. Most visitors arrive by car and park in the lot below, where a free shuttle bus takes them up to the site.

Rafted the Río Juramento near Salta: class II–III rapids, beautiful scenery, some wildlife (birds, wild horses), and even a cliff with dinosaur footprints. No rafting photos, unfortunately!

Hike to Cerro San Bernardo viewpoint in Salta town. A telefrico takes there in a few minutes, but I prefer walking up the stairs!
