Good mtb warm up route up onto the South Downs.
Start from Glynde (park or use the train station) and head South towards the A27, cross over and use small road all the way up to the South Downs Way (sometimes called the tank track) - the challenge is to try and not stop. Once up onto the top, use the bridleway towards Bishopstone for some fast hills. From here you can continue towards the coast or go east towards Bo Peep. Even better is going down the tank track, but be careful of walkers/horses/cattle and the bumpy track itself.
