"The Dörspe is a 10.4 km long, orographic left tributary of the Agger in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The source of the Dörspe is on the southern flank of the Dümpel at 385 m above sea level. NN. From here it flows primarily in a south-westerly direction, passing the villages of Pernze, Wiedenest and Bergneustadt and ending at Derschlag at 210 m above sea level. NN to the Agger. On its 10.4 km long path from the source to the mouth, the Dörspe overcomes a height difference of 175 m, which corresponds to an average bottom gradient of 15.2 ‰. It is interesting in this context that in its first 600 m run it already overcomes 95 meters in altitude, which corresponds to a gradient of 158 ‰."
