Hello fellow hikers! Today I'm sharing another hike from the "Off to Bergneustadt" series.



This time I started in Heischeid, going via Silberkuhle and Blockhaus to Bergneustadt. With weather like this, it was just perfect, as the trail mostly followed the ridges. Great hike! 👍

This hiking trail actually starts in Königsforst and is 37.8 km long. I hiked it in one go years ago when I was young and energetic. These days, I'm just a bit of a "and" 🤣, so I started in Wahlscheid and only did the last part.



However, I did two extra loops in the Naafbach valley

And there's nothing better than hiking up to the observation tower for sunrise in weather like this! It was -7 degrees Celsius up there, but the wind made it much more biting, of course 🥶🥶

I've been doing this for years, always taking different routes, and no matter which way you go, it's always beautiful. Today's hike ended at the Olpe leisure pool, where you can treat yourself to a bit of wellness if you want.
