Ling Fell boasts terrific views to the north west, overlooking Cockermouth. On a clear day you can even see the Galloway hills in Scotland! Ling Fell is one of two at the northern tip of Wainwright's North Western Fells. The other is Sale Fell.

Ling Fell is a 373m Wainwright in the north-west Lake District, commonly hiked alongside Sale Fell. There is a trig pillar on the top but the true summit is a little further along the plateau.

A beautiful trig pointed summit. I came over to it from Graystones. A lovely little stiff climb to the top.
