For the sleuths, on the tower from 1672 is a marking of the water level of 1953. In the side chapel of the church is the white marble tomb of Hieronymus van Tuyli van Serooskerken (1614 - 1669). This craftsman had the Slot in Stavenisse built in 1653. The mausoleum, which was made by Rombout Verhulst, has remained undamaged despite being under water during the flood disaster.

Hiking
A simple village church was built in the 17th century and was completed in 1623. The church was enlarged in 1664 and in 1672 the church tower of approximately 28 meters high was added. The church was restored in 1879, but at the beginning of the 20th century the church was so dilapidated that it was decided to demolish the church. In 1910-1911 a new church was built on the same place. Only the church tower and the choir with the tomb from 1669 were preserved. The church was designed by architect Hendrik Jesse from Oegstgeest.
