Hiking

For a much deserved pint or coffee after climbing Whernside and waiting for the train. The Station Inn prides itself in serving home-made food. The pies are delicious and made from scratch (both pastry and filling). They also have a few rooms if you would like to make a week-end of it. As well as a bunk-house and spaces for camper vans. Very nice beer-garden in summer and open fire in winter

A conveniently placed pub right at the start or finish of your visit to Ribblehead Viaduct or further afield to the top of Whernside. Apart from pub food, good beer, and outside seating it has a hostel block as well for overnight stays.
