In 1760 the smelter Dürr had a rock cellar knocked out. The "Solitude" built on it was destroyed by the French in 1796. In 1804 Weinbrenner built the Roman house as a garden and pleasure house, 1864-1891 Protestant prayer house, partly demolished in 1899. Popularly known as "Tanzplatz".
