Tamer Grande (2,547 m) is a peak in the San Sebastiano chain, a mountain range in the Zoldo Dolomites. The normal route represents, as well as an excellent panoramic balcony, also an interesting destination for those who are beginners with this kind of itinerary. Compared to the two sister peaks, Tamer Piccolo and Tamer Davanti, Tamer Grande is in fact the easiest to climb. It develops for the most part on a well-signposted route, taking advantage of a suggestive ledge that cuts through the entire Tamer Piccolo; in the end it offers some amusing passages on rock (II° degree).

The normal ascent route to Tamer Grande (some passage II) takes place in a little-frequented and psychologically demanding environment. The rock is good in the few sections where it is really necessary to climb, vice versa delicate in the easy ones, be careful not to move stones. The bank that climbs to the right of the Forcella La Porta is grandiose.
