Lake Coldai is an alpine lake of glacial origin located at an altitude of 2,143 meters, surrounded by majestic rock walls and meadows full of flowers typical of this environment. It owes its green color to the mineral mixture that characterizes its waters. It has natural origins and is fed annually by the melting of snow deposits deposited in winter.

The unique color, the wonderful mountain landscapes, the imposing walls of Mount Civetta make the lake a unique and very fascinating place, a popular excursion destination for thousands of visitors every year.

The lake is worth visiting, it is located about 15 minutes from the ref. Coldai, deserves to make an extra effort to visit it. I recommend going past it, so as to see beyond the natural basin that forms the lake and see the valley.
