The red brick water tower on Ravensberg was deliberately designed to resemble medieval structures when it was built in 1896.
An artificial hill was created for the now historic building, which has housed 36 residential units since 1996. It has a diameter of around 24 m and a height of around 30 m.

Between 1993 and 1996 the water tower was converted for residential purposes and there are now 34 apartments in the tower and one apartment in the former transformer house.
