Between the Spaccanapoli and Via dei Tribunali lies the picturesque alley Via S. Gregorio Armeno, known as Via dei Presepi 💫.

This corner of the city was already the center of the city's economy in Greek times and in some ways it still is today. Faith and superstition 🌶️🌶️🌶️, tradition and new icons meet here. Lovingly designed figures show the natività ☄️ (i.e. the traditional scene of the birth of Christ 👼), but there is much more behind it. The cityscape shown shows the diversity of the city 🌋 and the many cultures that have met here and enriched each other. The embedding of the figures is also not accidental: in the arches and capitals you can see the historical building elements 🏛️, which not only survive in the new city (as an archaeological find) but live on (as an integrated part of the architecture, see Napoli Sotterranea).
