Nice tour with lots of shade. It's best to hike in the morning as the part near Wilhelmstal Castle is in full sun.

Built in 1710, the Marstall (stables) completes the palace's eastern axis as a counterpart to the New Palace. Originally constructed as three separate buildings (marstall, carriage house, and washhouse), they were joined into a single unit around 1744 with graceful end pavilions. The clock tower dates from 1715, and the clock itself from 1859.
