The "Bleiche-Treff" is at the multifunctional square between the church and the fire extinguishing pond. There is a soccer field and playground, a barbecue hut with rest and seating areas, and this is where the "Bergheimer Eselsrunde" hiking trail starts. A donkey in a replica water wheel decorates the barbecue hut, and the donkey in the water wheel is also immortalized in the Bergheim coat of arms. It refers to the fact that the people of Bergheim used to have to provide the donkeys at Spangenberg Castle so that they could drive the water wheels.
