The historic market street is located in the center of Neumorschen. As a striking building with a roof turret, the renovated and listed Ratskeller corner of Weinstrasse stands out in the closed half-timbered building. The stone cellar vaults date from at least the 14th century and the three-story half-timbered structure dates back to the 17th century. The name Ratskeller probably goes back to the beginning of its use as a town hall and wine tavern. When the town was incorporated in 1974, the building lost its function and is now operated as a restaurant.
