Footprints lead to a small saddle between Pico do Fogo and the Pico Inferno. On top of the saddle you have a fascinating view into the "Hellmouth" of the huge crater. About 60 vertical meters down is the former summit of the Pico Pequeno, created at the 1995 eruption.
