After a dark and deep winter (I had to shovel snow twice – a 100% increase in effort – and the house lights are working again 😇)

finally back on my road bike without a padded jacket and sheepskin saddle!

It already feels so much lighter.

Maybe I can even manage a few more weight optimizations with my Bio setup! 😜

Completely foggy and still half asleep.

So, the Königstuhl mountain, not me!

I was just exhausted by the end; my fitness level is only slowly improving.

I don't have the time, and the weather isn't right for me either...

Reason for the delay: Weather app

Cold and snow in two hours

MTB brakes shot! Road bike roads too slippery!

So, a hike it is, just a short one, it already looks cold out there with hoarfrost on the treetops... 🥶

And as soon as you're outside, you start running. Just don't stop, or you

Want to spice up a beautiful sunny ride?

Just ignore the air in your brake lines.

And then grab the brakes hard.

You'll be surprised how quickly the next curve appears... 🤪🤔

Dinan, a small town with a historic center.

Strolling along the cobblestone streets is rarely interrupted by modern horse-drawn carriages.

Many small, diverse shops distract the eye from the half-timbered houses. The pigeons serve as an excellent reminder to look up.

The château can be visited for an entrance

Dol-de-Bretagne

The Cathedral of Saint Samson dates back to a bishop of the same name from the 13th century.

From the outside, I found the granite architecture rather simple. Inside, the colorful stained-glass windows made it bright, while the oldest part, the chapel to the south, had a more mystical feel

A nice little stop

A short climb up the hill in the middle of the countryside.

Admired the mill dating back to 1843.

Discovered: there's parking too 😜

The open tower with its statue of a saint offers a beautiful panoramic view, if you manage to squeeze up the spiral staircase.

Afterwards, it's back along
