Oriented late Gothic church with a pseudo-basilical layout, largely built in the 17th century, with renovations in the 18th century and a west facade and tower from the late 19th century. The church is located on a height in the centre of the village and is surrounded by the original, walled churchyard. The church is protected as a monument.

In the 11th century there was a chapel dedicated to Saint Ulrik at this location. The church as it stands today was built in different periods. What is particularly striking are the many tombstones, both inside the floor and outside in the walls. The church had a lot of organs: first there was a pneumatic organ, in the second half of the 1960s it was replaced by an electronic organ, which in turn was replaced in 1993 by a mechanical pipe organ.
